Below you will find the answers to many of the common questions we receive.
When can I check in?
Check-in takes place at the earliest at 14:00 for camping guests and 15:00 for hotel, hostel and cottage guests. During the summer, we have extended opening hours until 22.00 every day of the week. Check-out from the campsite and cabins takes place at 12.00 at the latest. (11.00 from our cabins if you are not cleaning yourself). In case of later check-out, a new daily fee is charged. If check-in takes place after 18:00, this must be announced.
Why is my code not working?
For the code to work, you need to have checked in. The fact that you have paid does not mean that you are checked in. If you arrive after the reception is closed, you need to check in yourself in our app Cwallet. If you arrive before the check-in time, you cannot check in via the app. Check your confirmation email to start using the app.
Can I cancel/rebook my stay?
If you have added flex fare to your booking, you can cancel and rebook it until 10:00 a.m. on the day you wish to leave. You get back the money you paid for your accommodation for the days you book – and we keep the flex price (as well as other additions such as choice of camping spot or food packages). Without flex price, you can book your stay up to 30 days before your arrival. After that, we are not able to give money back for your cancellation.
Is there Wi-Fi at your camsite?
We have free Wi-Fi in the area, which works best near the service houses. The Wi-Fi network is called GrebbestadFjorden and it has no code.
What happens if i arrive after 18:00?
For late arrivals after 18:00 you must notify us in advance. If you do not notify us of your late arrival, we have the right to cancel your stay. You can notify us of your late arrival when booking or by contacting the reception on 0525 – 612 11 or info@grebbestadfjorden.com.
How far is it to Grebbestad?
GrebbestadFjorden is about 600 meters from Grebbestadbryggan where you will find a variety of restaurants & shops and it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk there. The facility is located approx. 1.5 km from the harbor, where you will find, among other things, grocery stores and an ATM. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk there from the campsite.
I want to visit GrebbestadFjorden. Where can I park?
For those of you who are visitors to GrebbestadFjorden, there is a parking lot with a limited number of spaces outside the reception, this parking has a fee during the summer. We direct you to park in the long-term parking lot approx. 500 meters from our facility. Follow signs towards Siljevi/recycling station.
I have booked accommodation with you – where do I park?
For hotel rooms/hostel rooms, you will receive a parking tag upon check-in that you can use in our parking spaces marked with “H”. For cabins there is a parking space at your cabin & for glamping tents you will find your parking on the hill on the way up to the tent.
Where is the nearest gas station?
The nearest gas station to our facility is DinX, which is located approx. 2 km from GrebbestadFjorden, near Grebbestad Church.
Do I need a key for the electricity pole?
No, no key is needed for the electricity pole. To use the electricity, you need a shucko (plug) for a Eu cable (CEE). If you don’t have this with you, you can buy this on site in our mini life.
Can I charge my electric car at Grebbestad Fjorden?
During 2024, we will install electric car chargers at Grebbestad Fjorden. Until these are ready, we refer you to the nearest charger at the Sportshop. Note that you may not use these during the night. Electric cars may not be charged at the electricity poles at your campsite.
Does it cost extra to use your showers?
No, the showers are included in the price of your campsite and the only thing you need is to enter the service house with your code or card to use them.
Do I need to bring my own bed linen?
If you have booked a cabin or a hostel room with us, the sheet set is not included in your booking. Therefore, you are welcome to bring your own from home. If you wish to rent sheets from us, we will be more than happy to help you at the reception.
When is your restaurant Bar & Bord Open?
Our restaurant is open every day between 08:00 and 22:00 during the high season, i.e. from and including the middle of midsummer week through the second Sunday in August. After that, you can easily find the restaurant’s opening hours in our social media or by contacting our reception.
Can I bring my dog to your campsite?
Your dog is welcome to stay at our campsite. We have a dog park behind service house 3 where you can walk your dog. (see our map). We also have hotel rooms (3&4) & cabins (styrbord, babord, jungman) that are dog-friendly. If you stay with your dog in a cabin, a hotel room or a hostel room where dogs are not allowed, you will be charged for the cleaning.
What happens to lost/forgotten things?
If you forget or lose something at our facility, it will be handed in to the reception if it can be found. If you have lost something with us, you can contact reception to get it back. If we need to post something to you, there will be a fee.
Do you have handicapped accessible rooms?
At our facility, we have four disabled-friendly hotel rooms with a possibility to park just a few meters outside your door. Shower chair can be rented. Our cottages are not adapted for the disabled, but it is possible to borrow a ramp if needed.
